Prevent fire hazard with Tele E1ZM10 12-240VAC/DC


TELE's ENYA Series E1ZM10 12-240VAC/DC multi-function relay has 7-time functions with 7 different time ranges ranging from 0.05 seconds to 100 hours. The E1ZM10 12-240VAC/DC timing relay is designed for simple DIN-rail mounting and can be easily wired using the screw terminals. 

Task:

To prevent fire risk, the stove in a residential home's shared kitchen must be turned off after a set amount of time. In the event that the impact button is unlawfully blocked, the electrical circuit must still operate.

Solution:

A centralized impact button with a downstream time relais E1ZM10 12-240V and the feature "Single-shot leading edge with control input" solves the problem. When the button is pressed, the current flows and a given time window begins to run. Now is the time to use the stove before the time window has expired. The current is turned off and the stove is turned off audibly when the timer expires automatically.

Only after the current cycle has finished can the next cycle begin. As a result, an illegal blockade of the impact button, which would keep the stove running indefinitely, is not possible.
